Continuing the Lifeskills Series on World Mental Health Day

Continuing the Lifeskills Series on World Mental Health Day

On 10 October 2026, World Mental Health Day, Let’s Be Okay presents a special panel discussion on:

“Suicide Prevention: Changing the Narrative – Lifeskills from Childhood”

The discussion will focus on five essential Lifeskills:

  • Empathy
  • Critical Thinking
  • Creative Thinking
  • Interpersonal Relationships
  • Problem Solving

These skills play an important role in developing emotional wellbeing, healthier relationships, better decision-making and the ability to cope with life's challenges.

While learning these skills during childhood can create a strong foundation, Lifeskills can be learned and strengthened at any stage of life.

Join us as our panelists share their perspectives and experiences on how developing these skills can contribute to mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing and suicide prevention.
